te reo week

Hello bloggers,
Today me and my class had to write phrases in Maori since its Maori language week.
We had to use our Te Reo books for help to write the phrases since hardly anyone knew any sentences in Maori.  Here are some examples!

1. Rua whakarea waru ka tekau ma ona =   2 x 8 = 16

2. tokorua nga pepi =  two babys

3. tokohia nga kaiako = how many teachers?

  2. Hey Yazmine, my name is Kali.

I really liked how you gave examples of maori phrases. I also liked how you shared about what you had to write your phrases in which were your guys te reo books. This reminded me of a teacher that is maori and he was on 7 Sharp. Next time you should tell us some phrases you learnt in the te reo lesson. What is your favourite maori phrase? Also what was your favorite part about doing the lesson?

    Nga mihi
