today we got given a task to recount a time when I or someone i know did something brave.
two years ago when we were camping at Ahipara,Shipwreck Bay my cousin Brooke,15 years old was caught in a rip while swimming three uncles had to swim out to rescue him they were throne onto the rocks by the big waves. eventually they managed to pull him to shore I thought my uncles where very brave.

Thank you for doing week one, day one, activity three and for sharing the story about your cousin and uncles at Ahipara. It sounds like they were all super brave in that moment, I hope they were all okay afterwards!
I’ve also visited Ahipara and I thought it was so beautiful there but I never got in the ocean because there were so many surfers out and the waves were massive - i’m not surprised there was a rip there!
